The complete SEO course, free on YouTube
Three hours covering the whole system, start to finish. Watch it before you spend a cent.
Built for people who publish, not people collecting certificates
- Business owners who want to be the answer AI gives, not page five of Google.
- Freelancers and agencies adding AI search to what they sell.
- Anyone who can already publish a page and wants it to get cited.
- You want a certificate to put on LinkedIn. We do not issue one.
- You want someone to do your SEO for you. This teaches you to do it.
- You are looking for a one-off hack. Ranking in AI search is a system, not a trick.
What you walk away with
- A site structured so AI engines can quote it
- Your first AI citation, and a way to track the next ones
- A keyword and content system that works when the answer is an AI summary
- A repeatable audit you can run every month
What the course covers
Start free with the 7-lesson Kickstarter, then go deep across 9 subject areas in the full library. Every subject has a public guide you can read before you decide.
7 lessons, about an hour
- How AI search actually works (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Google AI Overviews)
- The one-sentence rule that gets your page cited
- Structuring content AI can read and quote
- A simple keyword approach for the AI era
- Getting your first AI citation, step by step
- Tracking where you show up in AI answers
- Your 30-day AI search action plan
50+ lessons across the whole system
The Kickstarter gets you your first citation. The full library is where you build the system that keeps earning them: technical audits, keyword research, content that AI engines quote, local search, and the automation that makes it repeatable.
It is a living course, not a recording. When an engine changes how it picks sources, the playbook gets updated and you get the update.
A course that changes when the engines do
Most AI SEO courses are recorded once and frozen. That is a genuine problem in a field where ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews change how they select sources every few months, and a syllabus filmed last year teaches tactics that have already moved on.
The honest comparison: Coursera and Udemy give you a fixed syllabus and a certificate. Semrush Academy and HubSpot teach you their own tool for free, which is worth doing. This gives you current tactics, two live calls a week where you bring your real pages, and DataWise to measure whether any of it worked.
It is taught by Nico Gorrono, who uses these methods on his own sites every week rather than teaching from a slide deck.

AI SEO course FAQ
Is there a free AI SEO course?
Yes. The AI Search Kickstarter is a free 7-lesson course covering how AI search works, how to structure content so engines can quote it, and how to get your first citation. It comes with a 3-day DataWise trial and needs no card. It is the first half of this course, and you can start it today.
Do I need SEO experience before starting?
No. The course starts with how AI search actually works and assumes you can publish a page and nothing more. If you already do SEO, the GEO and AEO material is the part that will be new: it covers what changes when the result is an AI answer rather than a list of links.
Is this an AEO course as well?
Yes. Answer engine optimization (AEO) and generative engine optimization (GEO) are both covered, because in practice they are the same job: getting an engine to select your page as the source of an answer. The course treats classic Google ranking, AI Overviews and chat-based answers as one system rather than three separate disciplines.
Do I get a certificate?
No, and that is deliberate. Coursera and Semrush Academy issue certificates and are a better fit if that is what you need. This course is built around getting your own site cited and ranking, and the proof is your own search results rather than a PDF.
How long does the course take?
The free 7-lesson Kickstarter takes about an hour. The full library is 50+ structured video lessons you work through at your own pace, plus new playbooks as the engines change. Most members work on their own site alongside the lessons rather than watching it all first.
How is this different from an AI SEO course on Coursera or Udemy?
Those are recorded once and stay fixed, which is a real problem in a field where the engines change every few months. This is a living course attached to a community: two live Q&A calls every week where you bring your actual pages, new playbooks as AI search shifts, and DataWise included. The tradeoff is honest: they give you a certificate and a fixed syllabus, we give you current tactics and direct feedback.
How much does AI SEO cost?
Learning it here is $0 to start, then $27/mo for the full course library and unlimited DataWise, or $47/mo to add two live calls a week and a 1:1 onboarding call. For comparison, hiring an agency to do AI SEO typically starts in the low thousands per month, which is why most of our members learn to do it in house.
Is SEO dead in 2026?
No, but the destination changed. People increasingly get answers from ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews instead of clicking a blue link, and those engines still pick their sources from indexed, well-structured pages. The work that gets you cited by an AI is mostly the work that got you ranked, applied to a different surface. That is exactly what this course teaches.
